Thomas D. Laue
Founder

Tom is a business lawyer and businessman with forty years’ experience operating his businesses and advising clients. Tom calls his law practice Business Problem Solving. Mr. Laue has an extensive and diverse range of experience in business dispute resolution and litigation including: medical marijuana dispensary disputes, receiverships, unfair competition and trade practices, contracts, investment fraud, business divorces, intellectual property (including trademarks and copyrights), interference with business opportunities and expectancies, and fraud of all types. Tom has helped business clients in all phases of operations from new business formation, annual meetings, contracts, business sales and acquisitions, real estate transactions, and financing matters. Tom is admitted to practice law in Arizona, Illinois, and Wyoming.

Tom is also a businessman with ten years’ experience managing the day-to-day operations of his family’s wholesale office supply business including warehousing, product ordering, product sales, staff hiring and issues, facility design, other matters. Prior to opening the Delos Group, Tom founded a sports facility company that conceived, designed, financed, and managed indoor sports facilities for the youth and non-professional adult sports world.

  • Favorably resolved a dispute between a lender and owner over control of a medical marijuana dispensary.

  • Favorably resolved multiple disputes between the ownership group and multiple claimants over control of a medical marijuana dispensary

  • Represented a medical marijuana dispensary in favorably terminating its contract with an off-site cultivation manager.

  • Favorably resolved and terminated a receivership put in place over a medical marijuana dispensary.

  • Successfully defended a medical marijuana dispensary in a Revocation Proceeding brought by the State to terminate its license to operate caused by issues at the cultivation facility.

  • Successfully defended a medical marijuana dispensary in a Revocation Proceeding brought by the State to terminate the license to operate caused by issues at the dispensary.

  • Successfully resolved a dispute involving a business divorce among owners of a cannabis enterprise.
